Join the Hatching Ideas Lab
Mental Health Research Advisory Board!
The Hatching Ideas Lab is looking for people with lived and living expertise to join an advisory board to inform mental health research at The Ottawa Hospital. You do not have to be a patient at The Ottawa Hospital to join.
The Hatching Lab is a group of researchers from the Department of Mental Health at The Ottawa Hospital. A key theme of the research includes addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, including those with serious mental illness. You can find out more about who we are and what we do here: www.hatchingideaslab.com. In this role, you would be asked to:
Attend an orientation session (with both in-person and virtual options).
Attend regular bi-monthly meetings (with both in-person and virtual options).
Share priorities for mental health research.
Develop research projects with the team.
Participate in grant applications and inform research study activities (if you are interested/comfortable).
We are looking for about 10 people to join our advisory board for at least one year. Compensation will be provided.
